Heroes—those who have done extraordinarily good for a nation--can be found beyond the boundaries of the battlefield. Heroes can be found at home, at church, maybe even in your home or in your church.

The author of Proverbs, rowing upstream against the current of the culture of his day, was unafraid to elevate women, wives, and mothers to the status of national hero. You read that right. Wives rank as high as those brave warriors who have gone above and beyond the call of duty and performed valiant exploits on the battlefield. Let me show you a true hero who never wore camo.
