Easter Sunday 2023: "Suffering: No Surprise" || Luke 24:25-27

+ Jesus explained that the hopelessness of His followers over His death was due to their failure to test the inspired Scriptures, which predicted the suffering of the Messiah. (v 25)

+Jesus taught that He was the key to interpreting Israel's Scriptures, which are a record of predictions that the Messiah had to suffer and die before entering His glory.

+ Our hope of our resurrection from the dead is based on the united testimony of Jesus' words and those who were witnesses of His resurrection in the New Testament.
