03.05.23 - "The Road to the Cross Begins by Recognizing that Jesus is the Passover Lamb," Mark 14:1-11

+ Irony: At the holy Feast of Passover/Unleavened Bread, when faithful Jews sacrifice a Passover Lamb and cleanse their homes of leaven, the celebrity pastors of the day plot together to arrest and murder an innocent man, Jesus!

+ Irony: In preparation for the death of God's Passover Lamb, in the house of the unclean leper, a nameless woman uses expensive oil to anoint the head of Jesus the Christ of Israel, God's Passover Lamb, and is the example par-excellence of a true faithful disciple of Jesus.

+ Judas, one of Jesus' chosen disciples, provides the way for the celebrity pastors to secretly apprehend and murder him.
