When God Shows Up || Luke 12:54-13:9
Jesus urges the people of His generation to recognize Him and to respond in repentance without delay.
A life of ease and the absence of tragedy is a sign of God’s mercy and patience, not my own righteousness.
Takeaways
Let’s be humble when others are suffering, not assuming that God is judging them.
Trouble in our own lives is not necessarily a sign of God’s displeasure: He leads us into storms designed for our perfection and our correction.
In times of crisis, need and scarcity, let’s row against the tide of the culture and look around to others who are in need or vulnerable.
God is still showing up in people’s lives.
